Leaperkim Lynx S Electric Unicycle

Best of best

§ 01 / Philosophy

The Lynx with more motor.
Same chassis. Same battery. More headroom.

High-performance build · Lynx platform
Leaperkim Veteran lineage
§ motor
10
kW peak · 3800 W nominal

3800 W rated, 10000 W peak. The largest motor in the Lynx-platform family.

§ load
150
kg max

Maximum rider load is 150 kg.

§ battery
2700
Wh · Samsung 50S · 151.2 V

2700 Wh of Samsung INR21700-50S high-discharge cells at 151.2 V. The 50S is exactly what the 10 kW peak motor needs to draw without sagging.

The Lynx for riders who want more peak power.

The Lynx S takes everything that earned the Lynx its reputation — the 90 mm FastAce hydraulic suspension (shock absorber), the magnesium chassis, the Samsung 50S battery — and pairs it with a 3800 W / 10000 W motor. Same body. Same suspension. Same battery capacity. Bigger drivetrain.

For owners who push hard up climbs and want more power in reserve rather than running the standard Lynx near its peak.

Curb weight goes up only 2.5 kg over the standard Lynx for the upgraded motor. Maximum rider load is 150 kg.

§ 02 / Systems

Four engineering choices that define the Lynx S.

Leaperkim Veteran
Lynx S · 2700 Wh · 50S
01

3800 W rated · 10000 W peak

The largest motor in the Lynx family.

02

90 mm hydraulic suspension

Same Lynx-platform suspension that earned the family its reputation. Independent compression and rebound damping. The coil spring weight is chosen at order to suit rider weight.

03

2700 Wh · Samsung 50S

151.2 V from Samsung INR21700-50S high-discharge cells. Smart BMS with motor thermal protection and per-cell monitoring feeds the 10 kW peak without sagging.

04

20" tubeless tire

TNT street or knobby tire options. The 20-inch wheel keeps the Lynx-family momentum and stability at speed.

§ 03 / EnergyCharging

Dual XLR ports.

5 A stock · up to 20 A combined

Dual-port charging. The stock 5 A charger fills the pack in roughly 4 hours. The system supports up to 20 A combined when paired with additional fast chargers (sold separately) for owners who need to turn the wheel around quickly.

§ 04 / BuildChassis

Magnesium frame · composite cage.

42.5 kg curb · 150 kg max load

Magnesium-alloy frame with a nylon composite cage. The S build is weather-tolerant for normal road use; Leaperkim does not publish an IP rating, so we describe the build conservatively.

§ 06 / Who rides it

The Lynx S rewards riders who want the Lynx ride feel with more power in reserve — loads up to 150 kg, harder climbs, more peak power on tap.

A

The Lynx upgrader

Riders coming from the Lynx who want more peak power without changing chassis. Same body, same suspension, same 2700 Wh battery — bigger motor.

B

The heavier rider

Heavier riders or owners who carry kit on longer rides. Maximum rider load is 150 kg.

C

The hard-climbing rider

Pilots who push hard up climbs and want more power in reserve rather than running a standard Lynx near its peak. 10 kW peak.

×

Long-distance touring riders

Riders prioritising long-distance touring — the Sherman L with 4000 Wh is the better match. Touring-tuned motor, longest range in the family.

×

First-EUC buyers

Anyone shopping their first EUC. This is a high-power performance wheel; the platform's learning curve is steep without prior wheel time.

×

Tight-handling urban riders

Riders who prefer a smaller 16" or 18" platform for tight-handling urban riding. The 20-inch Lynx is calibrated for stability at speed, not dense-traffic agility.

Q-01 What is the difference vs the standard Lynx?

Bigger motor (3800 W nominal / 10000 W peak vs 3200 W / 8000 W). Same chassis, same suspension, same 2700 Wh battery, same tire size. Curb weight only goes up 2.5 kg.

Q-02 Should I pick Lynx S or Sherman L?

Lynx S = peak power, smaller pack, performance riding. Sherman L = bigger 4000 Wh pack, touring-tuned motor, distance-first. Both are 20-inch Lynx-platform wheels.

Q-03 What is the maximum rider load?

Maximum rider load is 150 kg.

Q-04 Will it ride in the rain?

Lynx S has the same build as the Lynx family. Leaperkim does not publish an official IP rating, so treat it like every other Lynx-family wheel — tolerant of road spray and light rain, not deep water and not pressure washes.

Q-05 Does the box include the fast charger?

The standard charger is 5 A. To use the wheel's full 20 A charging headroom, an additional fast charger is required. We can advise on the right combination at checkout.

Q-06 EU warranty?

Two years EU-wide through OneRide, with home pick-up service if the unit needs to come back to the workshop.

Free EU delivery

2–8 working days. Carrier selected by destination and warehouse route.

2 years warranty

Home pick-up service. Battery, motor and chassis faults covered.
