DESCRIPTION
A wheel to learn on, with suspension that keeps the first kilometers calm.
Learning to ride goes easier when the wheel stays calm under you, and that is what the V9 is made for. INMOTION built it with new riders in mind: a tall, steady stance, power that builds smoothly instead of snapping, and 60 mm of air suspension that smooths cracked crossings and cobbles while balance is still coming together. Firmer or softer is a matter of air pressure.
Once the learning phase is behind you, it settles into an easy city commuter, with 45 km/h on hand and a tubeless street tire. A built-in GPS module lets the RideConnect app locate and lock it wherever it is parked. It is tuned for streets, not drops or trails, and when its rider is ready for more, INMOTION's bigger wheels sit right above it.
AIR SPRINGS THAT SETTLE QUICKLY
Damping chambers in the air springs stop the wheel bouncing back after a bump, so it settles quickly under your feet and small corrections stay small while you are still learning.
A PACK SIZED FOR CITY DAYS
Samsung 50GB cells give about 32 to 48 km of real riding. That covers several short commutes, or one relaxed afternoon of practice laps and errands, between charges.
NO TUBE TO PINCH
A 3-inch-wide tubeless street tire on a 10-inch rim. With no inner tube, misjudging a curb is less likely to end in a pinch flat, which matters while you are still finding your lines.
CHECK IT FROM ANYWHERE
The built-in cellular module reports charge status to the RideConnect app wherever you are. The same app sets the ride modes and the 256 effects of the ambient LEDs.

QUESTIONS
Expect a few practice sessions before riding feels natural; balance at low speed and clean mounting take the longest. The smooth power delivery and the suspension help, and the lift sensor stops the motor when you pick the wheel up, so a stumble does not leave the tire spinning beside you.
The V8S is lighter at 16 kg and rated for 75 km, but it rides without suspension and tops out at 35 km/h. The V9 is softer and more forgiving on rough city surfaces and keeps more speed in reserve once you are confident. Choose the V8S if you lift your wheel up stairs every day, the V9 if your streets are rough.
Yes. The V9 needs a one-time activation in the RideConnect app before it will ride, so set aside a few minutes with your phone when it arrives. Do it at home with the battery charged, and choose your ride mode in the same app before the first practice session.
A 2 A charger fills the battery in about 5 h, a 4 A charger in about 2 to 2.5 h. INMOTION recommends staying at or below 5 A. For a commuter, a 4 A charger means a full battery after a short evening at home, while the 2 A unit suits charging overnight.
