LeaperKim (Veteran) electric unicycles

Yes. LeaperKim is the company and Veteran the brand name on its wheels, so the Veteran Sherman L and the LeaperKim Sherman L are the same product. We list the range under both names so it is easy to find, and parts such as pads, tires and suspension components are grouped under LeaperKim (Veteran) spare parts.

The Sherman P leads on both: up to 180 km of listed range from 4700 Wh on 176.4 V, and a claimed top speed of up to 100 km/h. The Sherman L follows on range at 160 km from 4000 Wh. The Oryx shares the Sherman P's battery but is given a conservative 130 km on its 22-inch tire, and it matches the Lynx S at 97 km/h.

Not as a first wheel. The lightest model we stock, the Patton S, weighs 36 kg, and the Oryx 57 kg, with motors to match. Riders usually come to Veteran after a season or more on a lighter wheel; if you are still learning, our KingSong and INMOTION ranges include 14- and 16-inch wheels made for it.

The Patton S, with 80 mm of adjustable suspension and a choice of street or knobby tread, covers fast pavement and gravel from one wheel. The Lynx S has 90 mm of FastAce hydraulic travel with separate compression and rebound settings and stays controlled off drops. The Sherman L, Sherman P and Oryx also use 90 mm of hydraulic suspension but are tuned mainly for road touring.

The Oryx is rated IPX6 and the Sherman L is rated IPX6 / IP55, so both handle rain. LeaperKim publishes no official rating for the Lynx S or the Patton S, and none is listed for the Sherman P. With any of them, keep out of standing water, skip the pressure washer and let the wheel dry before charging.

Order on the product page of the model you want: OneRide is an official European LeaperKim (Veteran) distributor, ships from its EU warehouse and shows current availability there. Every Veteran wheel comes with a 2-year warranty, described in our terms. If you are torn between two models, tell us your usual rides before you order.
