Which Veteran is right for a first wheel?

Lynx is a popular first Veteran for confident riders; for first-ever EUCs in general we more often suggest a lighter commuter model from a different brand and then upgrading to Veteran for the second wheel.

Maintenance and service notes

Veteran wheels reward riders who keep up with simple maintenance. Inspect tire pressure weekly — Veteran tires are large and responsive to small pressure changes. After wet or muddy rides, wipe down the chassis and check that drain holes are clear. Tighten pedal hinges and the parking-stand bolts monthly. If your model has air suspension, check pressure against the manufacturer's chart for your weight every few weeks.

Long-life packs in the Lynx, Sherman, and Patton families are 50S or 50E cells. Charge to ~80 % for daily commuting, top up to 100 % only before long rides, and never store a fully discharged pack for extended periods.
