DESCRIPTION
LeaperKim's hard-hitting Lynx S, fitted from day one with Grizzla armor and a seat.
This is the full Lynx S, LeaperKim's 151.2 V suspension wheel for experienced riders who ride it fast on asphalt and off it onto dirt, supplied with the five-part Grizzla set. Grizzla bumpers wrap the headlight area and the battery corners, bottom armor shields the underside of the pack, and impact-absorbing elastopolymer takes the knock before the shell does. The kickstand stays, the armor fits both pedal heights, and pre-cut Velcro keeps the FastAce shock screws reachable for tuning.
The seat adds about 5 cm of height, grippy on top over a shock-absorbing core, and pivots on the rear handle so the trolley handle keeps working. The wheel is unchanged: 97 km/h, 10 000 W peak and 90 mm of travel. The set adds about 2 kg to a 42.5 kg wheel and takes the scrapes the shell would otherwise collect.
BUMPERS WITH A GRIP
The smooth front bumper adds a rubber front handle, a secure hold when the wheel goes into a car trunk. Like the rear bumper and bottom armor, it absorbs knocks before they reach the shell.
A HIGHER POINT FOR THE LEGS
With about 5 cm more height to press against, your calves and knees hold the wheel higher up. That gives steadier control over jumps, drops and slow technical sections on the trail.
THE SAME HARD-HITTING DRIVE
Nothing in the drive changes: the 3800 W rated motor pulls just as hard on climbs and out of turns, and its temperature sensor still keeps watch through long, hard efforts.
SHOCKS STILL OPEN TO TUNING
With the armor fitted, the FastAce compression and rebound settings stay within reach. Switching from a trail session to an evening road ride means a few turns of a screw, not a strip-down.

QUESTIONS
Riders who take the Lynx S where falls and scrapes are part of the day: trails, gravel tracks, training sessions. If your wheel will spend its life on tarmac and in a clean garage, the standard Lynx S does the same job and you can add protection later. Either way it remains a wheel for experienced riders.
Five parts: a smooth front bumper with a rubber front handle, a rear bumper, bottom armor, a seat and a pre-cut Velcro set. The protective work is done by impact-absorbing elastopolymer, which gives a little on contact instead of cracking like a hard shell. Everything is fitted from day one, so the wheel arrives ready for rough use.
Hardly in the drive: the motor, battery and suspension are untouched, and the extra mass of the set fades once you are moving. What changes is where the wheel meets your legs. The seat and bumpers move those contact points, so give yourself a few rides to settle into the new stance before judging it.
They protect different things on different wheels. This Lynx S version adds armor and a seat to the lighter, harder-hitting wheel. The Sherman L version comes with Grizzla power pads on a 4000 Wh wheel made for long distance, at 46.5 kg. Choose the wheel first by how far you ride, then the Grizzla set follows.
