Frequently asked questions

How fast is the Inmotion V14 Adventure?

70 km/h free-spin. The V14 is built around a 4000 W rated motor with 9000 W peak, so power is not the bottleneck. What limits real riding is your own comfort and the tilt-back safety envelope which Inmotion tunes conservatively around 55 to 60 km/h.

What is the range on a full charge?

120 km rated with the 2400 Wh battery. Real numbers for a 75 kg rider cruising 35 km/h on flat tarmac come in around 70 to 90 km. Adventure riding on dirt or hills drops it to 50 to 65 km because of the tire drag and constant torque demand.

What kind of suspension does the V14 have?

Progressive shock with adaptable leverage ratio. In plain terms: the further it compresses, the firmer it gets. That lets you send the wheel off curbs and trail jumps without bottoming out, while keeping small-bump compliance for comfort in town.

Can the V14 handle off-road?

Yes, that is literally the Adventure designation. The 16-inch wheel, heavy-duty suspension, and 140 kg load rating are all spec'd for trail riding with kit. The 50° max gradient means it climbs steep technical sections that would stop most wheels.

How much weight can the V14 Adventure carry?

Max rider weight is 140 kg, the highest in the Inmotion range. That headroom also means the wheel feels strong on climbs and rough ground even at 100 kg where other wheels start to strain.

Is it too heavy to transport?

39 kg. You can lift it into a car trunk without drama but stairs will hurt. Most V14 owners drive to the ride spot. Trolley handle helps on flat ground but do not plan to carry it two flights up regularly.

Is this legal in Spain or the UK?

Spain: the DGT does not homologate electric unicycles as VMP. The V14 exceeds the 25 km/h VMP speed anyway. Use on private land and off-road. UK: EUCs are classified as Personal Light Electric Vehicles. Illegal on public roads and pavements. Private land only, with landowner permission.

§ battery

§ motor
9000
W peak · 4000 W rated

The off-road platform, sized for distance.

The V14 Adventure is Inmotion's off-road EUC. The "50GB" version uses Samsung 50GB cells, which favour energy density over peak discharge — riders pick this build when range matters more than headroom on hard climbs. The companion 50S build (separate SKU) flips that trade-off.

Off-road riders who measure rides in distance, not in acceleration, choose the 50GB. Riders chasing peak hill-climb authority go to the 50S.

2400 Wh of Samsung 50GB cells, a 4000 W rated / 9000 W peak motor, a progressive shock with adaptable leverage ratio and a 16" wheel on a 3" all-terrain carcass. Same chassis, same motor, same suspension as the 50S — different cells, different ride priority.

§ 02 / Systems

Four engineering choices that define the V14 Adventure 50GB.

01

2400 Wh · Samsung 50GB

Samsung 50GB cells — a higher-energy-density variant of the 21700 family. Sized for distance rather than peak discharge. Riders who measure rides in kilometres choose the 50GB pack.

02

4000 W rated · 9000 W peak motor

The peak figure matters off-road. On 50° climbs the wheel needs the headroom that nominal-W ratings do not capture. The 50GB pack still drives the same motor — the difference is the discharge curve, not the maximum draw.

03

Progressive shock · adaptable leverage

The leverage-ratio geometry changes how compression scales through the travel — softer at the start, firmer deeper in. Travel is not separately stated by Inmotion. Tunable to rider weight and surface.

04

16" wheel · 3" all-terrain tire

The narrower 3" carcass — versus the moto-style 3.0-12 used by the Patton or Extreme — keeps the V14 more agile on tarmac while still offering useful grip off-road. A genuine dual-surface tire choice.

The Samsung 50GB cell is the higher-energy-density variant of the 21700 family. The 50GB pack favours range; the 50S pack (separate SKU) favours peak discharge. Same chassis, same motor — the cells choose the ride priority.

§ 06 / Who rides it

The V14 Adventure 50GB is built for off-road riders who measure rides in distance — not for peak hill-climb authority, not for pure street, not for new riders.

A

The off-road range rider

Off-road riders who prioritise range over peak discharge. The 50GB pack adds the kilometres at the cost of sustained-peak headroom — the trade most touring-focused owners want.

B

The long-distance off-road tourer

Riders who put together full-day off-road outings and need the cells sized for distance, not for a single brutal climb. ~120 km on smooth flat — significantly less in real off-road, but still the longest leg in the class.

C

The 50GB-vs-50S decider

Owners weighing both V14 packs who lean toward distance over headroom. Same chassis, same motor, same suspension — the cell choice is the only meaningful axis of decision.

×

Peak hill-climb riders

Riders chasing sustained peak authority on hard climbs — the 50S build is the right choice for that. Same wheel, different cells, different discharge curve.

×

Pure street riders

The 3" all-terrain tire is louder and heavier than a road tire. For pure tarmac use a street-tuned compact wheel — the V14 chassis is sized for surfaces that punish road tires.

×

New riders

2400 Wh, 39 kg curb weight and a 9000 W peak motor — this is not a beginner platform. Start on a smaller, slower wheel and step up after the first season.

Q-01 50GB or 50S?

50GB favours energy density (range). 50S favours high-discharge (peak / torque). Same chassis, same motor, same suspension — different cells.

If your riding is touring-shaped — long days, varied surfaces, moderate climbs — the 50GB is the right pack. If you spend most rides on hard sustained climbs, look at the 50S.

Q-02 V14 Adventure or V14 PRO?

Inmotion is using both names for the same chassis as the line is repositioned. The V14 PRO listing shows the same engineering with the current naming.

Q-03 Range claim — is it real?

~120 km is achievable on smooth, flat surfaces at moderate cruise. Off-road riding pulls this down sharply. The 50GB pack still gives the longest leg in the class — the manufacturer figure is a ceiling, not a daily expectation.

Q-04 Is it weatherproof?

Inmotion does not publish an IP rating for the V14. It is built for off-road conditions but pressure washing and prolonged immersion are bad ideas. For a rated sealed chassis, look at platforms with a published IP figure.

Q-05 EU warranty?
