DESCRIPTION
4700 Wh in one shell: enough energy to stop counting the kilometers.
The ORYX takes the line LeaperKim drew from the Lynx to the Sherman L and scales every part of it up: a bigger battery on a 176.4 V system, a stronger motor, a taller and wider tire. A conservative estimate puts its range at about 130 km, so the charger rarely decides where the ride turns back. Long-travel hydraulic suspension and that tall tire keep it calm at a fast cruise and take the edge off rough asphalt.
On the stock knobby it feels less nimble than a BEGODE Panther and prefers sweeping roads to tight turns. The battery box narrows at the top to keep the knees clear, and the pedals mount at two heights. Lifting it into a car trunk is a serious job; once it is moving, the same mass reads as composure. It makes the long way round the obvious choice.
QUICKER REFILLS ON LONG DAYS
The supplied 5 A charger reaches 80 % in about 4.5 hours. With extra chargers on the second port, intake rises to 20 A, so a long lunch stop puts back a good share of the battery.
A SAFETY NET IN THE CONTROLLER
If a hall sensor fails, an emergency mode keeps the wheel balancing without it, so you can slow down and stop under control. The 48-MOSFET controller gives the motor generous current headroom.
SPRING RATES FOR HEAVIER RIDERS
Choose a 66 or 70 lb spring and set compression and rebound separately, so the shock can be set up properly across a wide range of riders, up to the 150 kg rider load.
A TUBELESS KNOBBY THAT GRIPS
The tubeless 3.50-16 tread holds on gravel and packed dirt, and a small puncture can usually be plugged where you stand instead of turning into a workshop visit.

QUESTIONS
Both carry 4700 Wh on a 176.4 V system. The Sherman P is the more compact of the two, about 5 kg lighter on a 20-inch-class tire. The ORYX stands taller on its 22-inch-class knobby and has the stronger motor, for riders who value calm at a fast cruise over quick changes of direction.
If most of your kilometers are on asphalt, it is worth considering. The stock knobby is part of why the ORYX feels less eager in tight turns; a street tread sharpens the steering and rolls more quietly. When gravel and dirt are a regular part of the ride, the knobby remains the better choice.
Start with the lower position if you ride mostly on roads: a lower stance feels steadier at a fast cruise. Move the pedals up for rough tracks with ruts and roots, where the extra clearance keeps them from touching the ground when the wheel leans into a turn.
You set a passcode in the Bluetooth app, and the lock comes with an alarm that draws attention if someone tries to use the wheel. It is a deterrent rather than a replacement for a solid physical lock, which still matters when a wheel of this value is parked out of sight.
