DESCRIPTION
INMOTION's flagship off-road wheel: 150 mm of travel, 340 N·m of torque and a 235 V platform.
The X1 is built for technical ground: steep climbs, rocks, roots and landings. Its suspension offers up to 150 mm of travel with a progressive response, and the compression and rebound damping, the ride height and the pedal height can all be adjusted. A high-output BLDC motor on a 235.2 V platform, driven by a silicon-carbide controller, delivers 6 kW rated and up to 20 kW peak, for a top speed of up to 120 km/h.
The 2100 Wh battery is built from EVE 50PL tabless high-output cells, watched over by a distributed battery management system, and accepts up to 20 A of charging current. At 41 kg with a 140 kg load limit, the X1 is a wheel for experienced riders. INMOTION quotes a range of up to 70 km, measured on mixed terrain at 25–40 km/h with a 90 kg rider.
150 MM OF TRAVEL, SET TO YOUR TRAIL
Up to 150 mm of travel with a progressive response absorbs repeated hits from rocks and roots and still supports bigger landings. Compression and rebound damping are adjustable, and so are the ride height and the pedal height.
20 KW PEAK ON A 235 V PLATFORM
The high-output BLDC motor delivers up to 340 N·m of torque and 20 kW of peak power, 6 kW rated. A silicon-carbide controller handles the current for hard acceleration and sustained climbs.
TWO SETUPS, ONE BUTTON
Save two ride profiles, each with its own speed and PWM alarms, tiltback, balance angle, pedal sensitivity and pedal assist, and switch between them with the physical button on top of the wheel: one for the trail, one for the road.
A TIRE CHANGE IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES
The modular construction makes parts easier to inspect and replace without a full teardown, and a tire change takes about 15 minutes. The 2.75-14 tubeless tire can be swapped for an 80/90-14 or 90/90-14 size.

QUESTIONS
Experienced riders who want a flagship for off-road riding. With 41 kg, up to 20 kW of peak power and a top speed of up to 120 km/h, it is not a wheel to learn on. Riders new to off-road get further on a lighter, less powerful wheel first and come to the X1 later.
Both are off-road flagships weighing 41 kg. The F18 has the larger battery, 2664 Wh, with 100 mm of four-point suspension and a top speed of up to 108 km/h. The X1 has a 2100 Wh battery but more travel, 150 mm, more power, 20 kW peak and 340 N·m, a top speed of up to 120 km/h and 20 A charging.
The X1 accepts up to 20 A of charging current. INMOTION states 0–90 % in about 30 minutes at 20 A, measured under laboratory conditions. With a lower-current charger, charging takes longer.
RideConnect links the X1 to the INMOTION app: you can see its location and vehicle data, lock or unlock it remotely and get an alert if it is moved while locked. Over Bluetooth you can check mileage and ride history, and the operation and alert logs help find the cause of a problem faster.
