DESCRIPTION
A dual-motor scooter with 1170 Wh, hydraulic brakes and suspension front and rear.
The ENGWE Y1000 is ENGWE's dual-motor flagship scooter. Two brushless hub motors deliver up to 1200 W peak each, and a 52 V, 22.5 Ah (1170 Wh) battery gives a listed range of up to 100 km. Top speed is 25 km/h, with four ride modes and a button to switch between single- and dual-motor drive.
Hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear suspension and 10 × 3.0″ solid off-road tires keep it composed on cobbles, gravel and broken tarmac. It unlocks by NFC, app or PIN, and the 3.5″ TFT display shows speed, battery and navigation prompts from the ENGWE app. It folds for transport, but at 36.1 kg carrying it up stairs takes effort.

Two brushless hub motors deliver up to 1200 W peak and 28 N·m each. A button switches between single- and dual-motor drive, and ENGWE lists a maximum incline of 20°.

A 52 V, 22.5 Ah lithium-ion battery. The listed range is up to 100 km; everyday riding gives less. A full charge with the 4 A charger takes about 5–6 hours.
HYDRAULIC BRAKES · DUAL SUSPENSION
Hydraulic disc brakes with dual-piston calipers and 140 mm ventilated discs. Front and rear hydraulic suspension and 10 × 3.0″ solid off-road tires help on cobbles, gravel and broken tarmac.
NFC UNLOCK · APP · 3.5″ TFT
Unlock with NFC, the ENGWE app via Bluetooth or a keypad PIN. The 3.5″ TFT display shows speed, battery level and navigation prompts from the app; cruise control engages after 3 seconds on the throttle.

QUESTIONS
Riders up to 120 kg and roughly 160–200 cm tall who want a sturdy scooter for daily rides on mixed surfaces: cobbles, gravel paths and broken tarmac. At 36.1 kg it is heavy to carry, so it suits riders with a lift, ground-floor storage or a car rather than daily stairs.
ENGWE lists up to 100 km. Real-world range is lower: rider weight, speed, dual-motor use, hills and cold weather all shorten it. A full charge with the 4 A charger takes about 5–6 hours.
The 10 × 3.0″ off-road tires are solid, so they cannot go flat and never need pumping. They ride firmer than air-filled tires; the front and rear suspension takes the edge off cobbles and gravel.
Both list up to 100 km of range. The Joyor Y10 has one 500 W motor, a 48 V, 26 Ah battery, front and rear disc brakes and turn signals. The Y1000 has two hub motors (2 × 1200 W peak), hydraulic disc brakes, NFC unlock and solid 10 × 3.0″ off-road tires, and weighs 36.1 kg.
