Still the best in its category. Pedals are a not easy to fold, but we really appreciate this new design, and the kill switch to lift the wheel. Just a small wheel that we appreciate having in the trunk or for small trips.

Riders who want >30 km/h cruise

30 km/h is the ceiling on the KS-14D. Riders looking for sustained higher cruise should look at a 16" or 18" platform with a bigger motor.

Heavier riders

100 kg max load is the limit. Riders above that should choose a wheel rated for higher load, both for comfort and for the lifespan of the motor and chassis.

Q-01 KS-14D or KS-14M?

14D: 420 Wh, 30 km/h, ~40 km range, BT speakers. 14M: 210 Wh, 20 km/h, ~15 km range, no speakers (battery expandable). 14M is the entry; 14D is the practical commuter.

Q-02 Out of stock — when does it return?

This SKU rotates. Confirm availability with us before placing an order — we will tell you the realistic next-arrival window and whether the KS-14M or Inmotion V5F is a better current-stock alternative.

Q-03 How is it different from the older KS-14C?

Reinforced motor axle, active cooling on the motor with larger heatsinks, and a tougher chassis. Same family, but built for daily entry-level use.

Q-04 Does it have an IP rating?

KingSong does not publish an official IP rating for the KS-14D. Treat it as splash-resistant rather than waterproof — heavy rain, deep puddles and pressure washing are all bad ideas.
