DESCRIPTION
A big-tire all-rounder for asphalt and gravel, without heavyweight bulk.
Think of the XENO as the AEON grown into the 20-inch class. The taller, wider tubeless tire gives it a steadier stance, and the battery holds about 70 percent more energy than the AEON's, enough for an official range of up to 100 km. The 90 mm of adjustable suspension carries over; tuned once to your weight, it handles packed dirt and fast city runs alike.
It is an all-rounder rather than a trail specialist, happy on street, hybrid or knobby tread. At 33 kg it weighs less than KingSong's S22 PRO+, so the bigger stance costs little. With up to 75 km/h on tap, it is the next wheel for confident riders moving up from a mid-size one: more tire, more battery and more calm at speed.
FULL AGAIN BY MORNING
The supplied 5 A charger fills the 2200 Wh pack in about five hours. Plug it in after dinner and the next long ride starts on a full battery, with no second charger needed.
TOP SPEED, READ CORRECTLY
NOSFET quotes 75 km/h for a standard rider weight on a full charge. A heavier rider or a half-empty battery sees less from the 2500 W hub motor, worth knowing before a fast run late in a long ride.
DAMPING THAT WORKS BOTH WAYS
Symmetrical damping controls the wheel as the shock compresses and as it extends, so it settles quickly after a bump instead of bouncing back. Rebound and compression are set separately.
A TREAD FOR EACH SEASON
Run a street tread for a mostly paved year, then switch to hybrid or off-road when gravel becomes routine. Before fitting a size other than the stock 80/90-14, check clearance in the shell.

QUESTIONS
Both run 126 V with about the same battery. The Patton S rides a smaller 16-inch-class tire with a stronger 3000 W motor, at 36 kg. The XENO, at 33 kg the lighter of the two, stands on a taller 20-inch-class tire with 90 mm of travel. It is the calmer cruiser over rough ground; the Patton S is the more compact and punchy one.
It carries riders up to 120 kg. Near that limit, set compression firmer so the suspension keeps its travel for real bumps, and expect a little less top speed, since NOSFET's figure assumes a standard rider weight. Above 120 kg, look at a wheel rated for more, such as the LeaperKim ORYX at 150 kg.
The pedal frame takes interchangeable nylon covers in large and small sizes. Large covers give your feet more area, which helps on long rides and rough ground. Small covers keep a closer, more direct feel and suit riders who carve a lot in town. Since they are interchangeable, it is easy to try both.
The RGB tail light is visible across a 180° arc, so drivers waiting at side streets see you, not only those directly behind, and its color can be customized. Up front, an LED headlight lights the way. Firmware for the wheel is updated over the air through the NOSFET app.
