Begode Falcon electric unicycle

Overall nimble and powerful wheel. Coming from non suspension wheel it’s very nice for me. Stock power pads not that good though, painful breaking pad, also top of the wheel edge is painful too. Mudguard has holes and spreads water. Suspension has a bit of horizontal play when rocking the wheel back and forth, which made me feel uneasy a bit at first, not sure if this is how it is with suspension wheels or something needs tightening. I weight 70kg, got wheel with yellow springs - suspension seems fine, did not do any adjustments.

The Falcon 50S is Begode's compact, suspension-equipped 15-inch wheel. It does not have the battery to compete with touring wheels and it does not have the moto-tire of an off-road build, but in its own segment — compact, suspension-equipped urban riding — the spec sheet is hard to beat.

15" × 3.5" tubeless

The wide profile gives the Falcon its planted feel; the 15-inch hoop keeps it nimble in tight urban riding. Tubeless tire — street or knobby option at order.

The second-wheel rider

Riders looking for a second wheel for tight-handling rides. 15-inch hoop, light enough to grab on a whim, with enough motor and battery for a full city day.

The first-suspension upgrade

Owners stepping up from a non-suspension wheel without jumping to a heavy 20-inch platform. Same compact format, with real suspension travel and a serious controller.

Long-distance touring riders

900 Wh is short of touring scale. For 100+ km days look at a bigger pack — the Falcon Pro at 1800 Wh, or the 20-inch platform.

High-speed riders

Cruise speed sits around 46–50 km/h. Riders who want sustained high-speed touring should look at higher-voltage platforms.

Off-road moto-tire riders

The Falcon's suspension is short and the tire is street-biased. For dedicated off-road riding, a moto-tire build is a better match.

Q-01 Should I get the 50S or the 50GB?

50S: higher peak discharge — better acceleration, better headroom on hills. 50GB: higher energy density — slightly more range. Most urban riders pick 50S.

Q-02 Why does the controller matter so much?

At 280 A maximum current the Falcon punches above its motor-wattage class. That is the spec to pay attention to on this wheel.

Q-03 Will it commute in light rain?
