DESCRIPTION
Soft, tunable air suspension in a commuter that stays easy to handle.
The S18 Pro+ brings 100 mm of air suspension to a wheel sized for the daily commute. An X-shaped linkage carries the shock: set its pressure to your weight with the supplied pump, tune the damping, and curb cuts, potholes and gravel paths arrive as a soft roll instead of a jolt. The wide 18 × 3 tire adds calm of its own on coarse surfaces.
At 25 kg it weighs less than KingSong's spring-suspended S16 Pro and 8 kg less than the S19 PRO, which answers with a bigger battery and 60 km/h. The S18 Pro+ settles for 45 km/h and a 1110 Wh pack sized for the working week rather than the long tour. It is for the rider who wants the commute smooth more than fast.
PRESSURE AND DAMPING, BOTH YOURS
Air pressure sets how much weight the shock carries, and damping sets how quickly it moves. Adjusting both lets the 100 mm feel plush on gravel or tight on a brisk commute.
A QUICK REFILL AFTER WORK
Samsung 50S cells under a BMS with cell balancing. The included 2.5 A charger refills the 1110 Wh pack in about 5–6 hours, so an evening on the plug is enough.
TORQUE FOR HILLY ROUTES
With 185 N·m on tap, steep streets and starts on a slope feel easy rather than strained. Top speed stays at a commuter-sized 45 km/h, which keeps the wheel calm and predictable.
A HANDLE THAT STOPS THE MOTOR
Pull up the telescopic handle and roll it inside; the lift sensor stops the motor as soon as the wheel leaves the ground, so it never spins in a hallway or lift.

QUESTIONS
Better than many commuter wheels. The headlight has high and low beams and switches between them automatically, so oncoming riders are not dazzled. At the back, the light works as a brake light, and turn indicators show where you are heading, which matters most in evening traffic.
Both are air-sprung wheels that top out at 45 km/h. The V9 is the wheel to learn on: 23 kg, 15-inch and 60 mm of travel. The S18 Pro+ gives 100 mm of travel and 1110 Wh against 750 Wh, so it suits riders who already ride with confidence and want a softer, longer daily commute.
The wheel comes with an 84 V / 2.5 A charger and a pump for the air shock, so you can set up the suspension on day one. The kickstand is an optional accessory, sold separately. Settings and firmware updates go through the KingSong app over Bluetooth.
Riders who want pace more than comfort. The S18 Pro+ tops out at 45 km/h by design; if your route includes fast suburban roads, the INMOTION V11Y reaches 60 km/h and carries 1500 Wh. Riders over the 120 kg load limit also need a wheel rated higher. For a smooth city commute, the S18 Pro+ is the natural fit.
