DESCRIPTION
Four-point suspension and deep torque, in a wheel you tune and service yourself.
One step below KingSong's F22 Pro, the F18 keeps that wheel's 100 mm of four-point suspension in a lighter shell and pulls with a deep reserve of power, up to 320 N·m of torque, up steep climbs and over loose ground. Compression, rebound and preload all adjust, and once set to the rider's weight it rides smoothly over ruts and roots; out on the trail it is easy to see why it is so often chosen for off-road riding.
It is also built to be worked on. The motor is quick-release, the lights, speakers and display are separate units for service, and pedal height and a swappable tire lean it toward street or trail. If climbing power and a build you can look after yourself are what you value, the F18 is hard to argue with.
FOUR DAMPERS SHARE THE LOAD
Four DNM dampers split each hit between them, which keeps the shell steady over chopped-up ground. The setup is rated for riders up to 140 kg, so heavier riders can tune it instead of fighting it.
FOUR MAGNESIUM-CASED PACKS
The 2664 Wh battery is built from 144 Samsung 50S cells in four magnesium-alloy packs on a 151.2 V system, a reserve sized for long days on rough ground.
11 000 W WHEN IT COUNTS
Peak output reaches 11 000 W through a controller rated up to 100 A. That is the reserve that keeps the wheel pulling when a climb turns steep and loose at the same time.
FAST CHARGER INCLUDED
A 10 A charger comes in the box and refills the pack in about 2–3 hours. Add a second 10 A charger on the other port and it takes about 1–2 hours.

QUESTIONS
Start with the pedals. Height adjusts, and the angle sets between 8 and 14 degrees: lower, flatter pedals feel calmer at speed on tarmac, while higher pedals give more clearance over roots and rocks. Then tune compression, rebound and preload for your weight and the ground you ride. It ships on a 2.75-14 all-terrain tire, and the quick-release motor makes changing to another tread straightforward.
All three are 20-inch-class KingSong suspension wheels. The F22 Pro is the big-battery flagship at 48 kg. The S22 PRO+, at 35 kg with 130 mm of travel, is the comfort wheel for long, mixed loops. The F18 sits between them at 41 kg, and its strength is climbing power and a suspension you can tune in every direction.
It is thoroughly equipped for both. A 30 W headlight and a 12 W auxiliary light adjust their brightness to your speed and have an adjustable beam. At the back, an RGB tail light brightens when you slow down, and turn signals show drivers where you are heading. Ambient lighting adds side visibility.
Use the carbon-fiber front and rear carry handles; at 41 kg the lift into a trunk is easier with two people. The rest of the time it rolls on the telescopic trolley handle, and the built-in kickstand holds it upright when parked. With the pedals down it is 50 cm wide, so measure narrow doorways and storage spaces.
