DESCRIPTION
Small, light and patient: a beginner wheel for short rides across town.
The 14D PRO is KingSong's beginner wheel, made for first rides and short errands around the city. Out of the box a speed limit holds things gentle; once the wobble is gone, the KingSong app opens it up to 30 km/h. The 14-inch tire rolls calmly over cracks and small potholes, and the wheel is nimble and easy to place; it is simply fun to ride.
With no suspension and a 420 Wh battery, it belongs on smooth asphalt and short hops, not long tours. Next to the even smaller INMOTION V5F it carries more battery and more speed, which leaves some room to grow. At 14.5 kg it goes up the stairs or into a car trunk without a second thought.
ROLLS ALONG, FOLDS AWAY
The angled telescopic handle lets it roll beside you through shops and stations. The wide pedals fold flat against the shell, so it tucks under a desk or a café table.
FULL IN 3.5 HOURS
The standard charger refills the 420 Wh pack in about three and a half hours. A ride in the morning and another in the evening fit easily into one day with a top-up between.
LIMITS THAT GROW WITH YOU
In the KingSong app you set your own speed limit, raise it as your confidence grows, check your ride data and keep the firmware up to date.
SEEN AND HEARD
Front and rear lights and a separate brake light help drivers read you in traffic. Four RGB strips pulse with the music from the built-in Bluetooth 5.4 speaker.

QUESTIONS
Keep the beginner speed limit on and start somewhere flat and smooth, with a wall or railing to hold. The wide 24.5 × 12.5 cm pedals give a stable stance while you find your balance, and the wheel is light enough to pick up after a wobble. Short, frequent sessions usually work better than one long one.
They share the 14-inch format and the easy-going character. The 14S PRO doubles the battery to 840 Wh and weighs 16.2 kg, so it suits riders who already know their daily distance will be longer. The 14D PRO is the lighter, simpler wheel for learning and short city errands.
It has 125 N·m of torque and is rated for grades up to 32°, so ordinary city hills and ramps are within reach. On long, steep climbs, heavier riders will feel it working harder; the rider limit is 120 kg. While you are learning, take steep descents slowly until your control is solid.
KingSong rates it IPX5. This is the manufacturer's own figure, so treat it with some caution: no wheel is guaranteed waterproof. In practice most wheels ride fine in the rain if you take it carefully and keep out of big puddles and standing water. Never clean the wheel with a pressure washer or hose. After a wet ride, let it dry standing upright, not lying on its side, so water can't run inside, and make sure it's dry before you charge it.
