Q-01Band size — is it 16" or 18"?
The rim is 16". The motorcycle band (3.0-12 ETRTO carcass) gives an overall outside diameter that some retailers label as 18". We give both numbers so the spec is unambiguous — the 16" rim figure is what determines fitment.
Q-02Why the air shock rather than coil?
Begode tunes the Extreme ongeveer an air shock omdat it lets the Vering rate scale with rider weight by changing pressure rather than swapping springs. The trade-off is that lichter riders (~70 kg or less) may not move enough air to use the available travel.
