INMOTION P6 Electric Unicycle

The INMOTION P6 is a high-performance electric unicycle designed to push the limits of speed, power, and ride comfort.

It reaches a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h) and accelerates from 0–30 mph (0–48 km/h) in just 1.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric unicycles available.

Built on a 235 V high-voltage platform delivering up to 20 kW of peak power, the P6 offers explosive acceleration and unmatched control.

Its 90 mm liquid-dampened hydraulic suspension automatically adapts to bumps, drops, rough terrain, or high-speed rides, providing exceptional smoothness and stability.

Through the INMOTION app, riders can fully customize pedal sensitivity, acceleration, braking, and turning behaviour to match their style and terrain.

Connectivity features include an IoT system with real-time GPS tracking, anti-theft protection, remote control, ride history, route recording, and instant alerts.

The P6 uses a “Tesla-grade” battery system architecture (BMU + BCU + BDU) for safety and long-term reliability. Its 4,200 Wh Samsung 50S battery pack is rated IPX7 waterproof and ensures long-lasting performance.

The SiC MOSFET (650 V) controller provides superior current and thermal efficiency compared to standard 250 V systems.

A copper vapor chamber cooling system with fan and heat sinks improves heat dissipation by up to 30%.

Convenience features include dual USB-C and USB-A power outputs (22 W total) for device charging, and reinforced magnesium alloy handles that serve as lift points and bumpers.

The body is IPX6-rated, ensuring weather resistance and reliability in challenging conditions.

In summary, the P6 is built for serious riders seeking top-level performance, durability, and smart connectivity in one premium electric unicycle.

Frequently asked questions

What is the top speed of the Inmotion P6?

150 km/h free-spin on the spec sheet. That is unloaded wheel rotation, not a number any rider actually hits. Real ridable top speed is significantly lower and limited by safety margins, tilt-back, and the rider's own threshold. The P6 accelerates from 0 to 48 km/h in 1.9 seconds, which is the more meaningful performance number.

What battery and voltage does the P6 use?

4200 Wh pack at 235 V using Samsung 50S cells. The 235 V platform is extreme even for flagship EUCs and gives the motor 20 kW peak power output. Range with 4200 Wh is touring-grade: 150 to 250 km depending on riding style.

What suspension does the P6 have?

90 mm liquid-dampened hydraulic suspension that adapts automatically to terrain. The damping adjusts to what the wheel encounters: bumps, drops, rough terrain, high-speed stability. Not user-tunable in the same bolt-adjust way as Master or Lynx; the system handles it.

Is the P6 waterproof?

Two ratings: IPX7 on the battery pack (submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes) and IPX6 on the body (strong jet water resistance). This is among the best water resistance ratings in the EUC segment. Still not a swimming pool wheel, but rain and standing water are no issue.

What is the SiC MOSFET controller?

Silicon carbide MOSFETs instead of standard silicon. They handle higher voltage (650 V rating) more efficiently, run cooler, and waste less energy as heat. The P6 needs this controller because the 235 V platform would overwork standard 250 V silicon MOSFETs. In practice it means better thermal behavior at full power.

Does the P6 have GPS and anti-theft?

Yes, the IoT system includes real-time GPS tracking, anti-theft protection, remote control, ride history, route recording, and instant alerts. Managed through the Inmotion app. This is closer to a connected motorcycle feature set than to what EUCs typically ship.

Is the P6 beginner-appropriate?

Absolutely not. This is a flagship engineered for expert riders. 235 V, 20 kW peak, 150 km/h free-spin, 4200 Wh of battery. The P6 is not a learning wheel, not an intermediate upgrade. Anyone considering the P6 should already own a fast suspension wheel and have hundreds of hours of saddle time.

Is the P6 legal in Spain or the UK?

No. Spain: DGT does not homologate EUCs as VMP, and the P6 is far beyond any commuter envelope. UK: PLEV classification, illegal on public roads and pavements. The P6 is a private-land and off-road hypervehicle in both jurisdictions.

The hyper-EUC platform.

The P6 is a flagship-tier launch product, a hyper-EUC. The headline specs are not the point of comparison — every Inmotion flagship has big numbers — what defines the P6 is the platform innovation: 235 V architecture, 650 V SiC MOSFET controller, copper vapor-chamber cooling, and a Tesla-grade three-unit power architecture (BMU + BCU + BDU) that splits battery management, control and distribution into three dedicated controllers.

A serious-rider tool. Inmotion's intent is the upper edge of EUC engineering.

20″ wheel with 80/90-14 stock tire. 51 kg curb weight. 90 mm hydraulic dual-speed dampening. IPX7 battery sealing. USB-C + USB-A combined to 22 W. IoT integration with anti-theft and GPS through the Inmotion app.

§ 02 / Systems

Q-01Why does 235 V matter?

At higher pack voltage, the controller draws less current for the same power output. Practical effect: less heat, less voltage sag, longer cell life. 235 V is at the upper edge of EUC architectures.

Q-02What is a SiC MOSFET?

Silicon carbide is a wide-bandgap semiconductor that switches faster than silicon at high voltage with less conduction loss. Less waste heat, higher peak power, more headroom for hard riding.

Q-03What's vapor-chamber cooling?

A sealed copper chamber filled with a working fluid that vaporises at the heat source and condenses at the cooler end. Used in high-end server CPUs. Keeps the controller in its working window during sustained hard riding.

Q-0493 mph riding speed — is that real?

No — that is the motor's no-load free-spin. Real riding tops well below it. The 1.9 s 0–30 mph is the publicised acceleration figure. Public-road operation is capped at 25 km/h.

Q-05P6 or V13 PRO Challenger?

V13 PRO: 18″, smaller chassis, lighter, traditional EUC controller. P6: 20″, 235 V, SiC MOSFET, IPX7 battery, hyper-EUC platform.

Q-06EU warranty?
