Continuing the success of the very popular KS-14D unicycle, Kingsong are releasing a budget version, which looks very much like the KS-14D, but of course it has several functional differences from it.
Kingsong's goal was to reduce the cost of the wheel as much as possible, while maintaining many of the advantages that the KS-14D had and making it as competitive as possible in its segment.
The main thing that had to be sacrificed was the one 174 Wh battery remained in the new wheel, which in term affected the maximum speed and range, but at the same time made the wheel even more mobile by reducing its weight. Other changes are related to those wheel functions the loss of which many users will not even notice - built-in speakers and LED strips have been removed.
But despite the above changes, the wheel has retained much of what the KS-14D is famous for:
Telescopic handle - for easy transport
Two-way headlight and brake light
14 inch diameter - the most popular size among electric unicycle
Weight has decreased and is now about 12 kg
Calf pads and comfortable pedals are retained here from KS-14D
And the news that will delight many upgrade lovers - since there is now room for a second battery, you can buy and install it separately yourself if you want to increase the mileage.
Max. Speed (km/h) : 20.

The Kingsong KS-14M reaches a maximum speed of 20 km/h.
What battery does the KS-14M come with?
The KS-14M ships with a single 174 Wh battery, which reduces weight but also limits top speed and range compared with the KS-14D.

The KS-14M weighs approximately 12 kg, making it one of the most portable unicycles in its class.
What wheel size does the KS-14M use?
It uses a 14-inch wheel, the most popular size among electric unicycles.
Can you add a second battery to the KS-14M?
Yes — the chassis has room for a second battery, so riders can buy and install an extra pack to increase mileage.
Does the KS-14M have built-in speakers or LED strips?
No — to keep the price down, Kingsong removed the built-in speakers and LED strips from the KS-14M.

§ 01 / Philosophy
The smallest KingSong, expandable. 210 Wh now · room for a second pack later.
Single 210 Wh pack out of the box. The chassis is built around a second 210 Wh slot — owners can add the optional pack later instead of replacing the wheel.
§ motor
800
W · 14" wheel
800 W nominal motor in a 14-inch wheel. Sized for first-time learners, short commutes and a 100 kg max load — not for high-speed touring or off-road riding.
§ weight
12.8
kg · among the lightest KingSongs
12.8 kg curb weight with telescopic handle. Easy to carry up stairs, lift into a small car or store in an apartment. Fast 1.5-hour full charge at this battery size.
The entry-level KingSong, with a path to extend.
The KS-14M is the budget-friendly entry point to the KingSong range. It uses a smaller battery, a lower top speed and simpler hardware than the KS-14D — no Bluetooth speakers, no LED strip — to keep the price down.
For first-time owners on a budget, with the option to grow the wheel later instead of replacing it.
What it keeps is the chassis space for a second 210 Wh battery. That single design choice is what separates the KS-14M from a typical disposable starter wheel: when 15 km of range stops being enough, the upgrade path is a second pack, not a new purchase.
§ 02 / Systems
Four engineering choices that define the KS-14M.
Factory data KingSong KS-14M · 210 Wh · 14"
01
210 Wh · expandable
Single 210 Wh pack as standard. The chassis is designed to accept a second 210 Wh pack — sold separately — so range can roughly double without changing wheel.
02
800 W motor
800 W nominal, sized for the entry-level segment. 20 km/h top speed, ~15 km range on the single pack and a 100 kg rider load ceiling.
03
14" wheel · no suspension
14-inch wheel with a rigid chassis — no suspension at this tier. Calf pads on both sides keep the wheel locked under the rider on smooth surfaces.
04
Telescopic handle · lights
Telescopic carry handle, two-way headlight and dedicated brake light. 12.8 kg curb makes it one of the easiest wheels in the KingSong line-up to carry by hand.
§ 03 / EnergyCharging
Full charge in ~1.5 hours.
Fast turnaround at this battery size
A 210 Wh pack reaches a full charge in about 1.5 hours from the standard charger — fast for the entry-level segment. The chassis is wired to also accept a second 210 Wh pack for owners who want roughly double the range later on.

§ 04 / Range & speedDaily use
~15 km range · 20 km/h top speed.
Sized for short commutes and learning
~15 km of range on the single pack is enough for short commutes, errands or first-time learning sessions. 20 km/h hardware-limited top speed keeps the platform inside a comfortable envelope for new riders — no tilt-back surprises.

§ 06 / Who rides it
The KS-14M is built for first-time owners who want the smallest, lightest path into the KingSong line — not a daily commuter, not a touring wheel, not a fast machine.
A
The first-time learner
New riders who want the smallest, lightest possible wheel to learn on. 12.8 kg, 20 km/h hardware ceiling, calf pads on both sides — a forgiving starter platform.
B
The budget buyer with a path to extend
Owners on a tighter budget who still want a way to grow into more range. The optional second 210 Wh pack is wired into the chassis from day one — no rewire, no new wheel.
C
The short-range commuter
Riders with daily routes under 15 km — last-mile, campus, errands. Fast 1.5-hour charge means a topped-up wheel between trips with minimal downtime.
×
Riders who want music or BT audio
The KS-14M deliberately drops Bluetooth speakers and the LED strip to hold the price down. The KS-14D is the same chassis with audio added on top.
×
Daily commuters with longer routes
Even with two packs, total range is moderate. For 25–40 km daily commutes, look at larger-battery KingSong wheels rather than scaling the KS-14M up.
×
Riders who want speed beyond 20 km/h
20 km/h is the hardware-limited ceiling. If a faster top speed matters — even at the starter tier — the Inmotion V5F at 25 km/h is the closer alternative.

Q-01Can I add a second battery later?
Yes — the chassis is designed for a second 210 Wh pack. It is sold separately. We can quote both at order if you want them shipped together.
Q-02KS-14M or KS-14D?
Same 14-inch chassis. The KS-14D adds Bluetooth speakers and an LED strip; the KS-14M drops both to bring the price down. If audio is not important, the KS-14M is the lighter, cheaper option.
Q-03KS-14M or Inmotion V5F?
Different starter-class trade-offs. KS-14M: 12.8 kg, 20 km/h, expandable battery, 100 kg max. V5F: 13 kg, 25 km/h hardware-limit, 320 Wh, 120 kg max. The KS-14M wins on weight and the upgrade path; the V5F wins on top speed and rider weight ceiling.
Q-04Is 100 kg the strict max load?
Yes — 100 kg rider weight is the manufacturer-stated ceiling. Heavier riders should look at wheels rated for 120 kg or more.
