The KS-14M is the budget-friendly entry point to the KingSong range. It uses a smaller battery, a lower top speed and simpler hardware than the KS-14D — no Bluetooth speakers, no LED strip — to keep the price down.

For first-time owners on a budget, with the option to grow the wheel later instead of replacing it.

What it keeps is the chassis space for a second 210 Wh battery. That single design choice is what separates the KS-14M from a typical disposable starter wheel: when 20 km of range stops being enough, the upgrade path is a second pack, not a new purchase.

Even with two packs, total range is moderate. For 25–40 km daily commutes, look at larger-battery KingSong wheels rather than scaling the KS-14M up.

Riders who want speed beyond 20 km/h

20 km/h is the hardware-limited ceiling. If a faster top speed matters — even at the starter tier — the Inmotion V5F at 25 km/h is the closer alternative.

Q-01 Can I add a second battery later?

Yes — the chassis is designed for a second 210 Wh pack. It is sold separately. We can quote both at order if you want them shipped together.

Q-02 KS-14M or KS-14D?

Same 14-inch chassis. The KS-14D adds Bluetooth speakers and an LED strip; the KS-14M drops both to bring the price down. If audio is not important, the KS-14M is the lighter, cheaper option.

Q-03 KS-14M or Inmotion V5F?

Different starter-class trade-offs. KS-14M: 12.8 kg, 20 km/h, expandable battery, 100 kg max. V5F: 13 kg, 25 km/h hardware-limit, 320 Wh, 120 kg max. The KS-14M wins on weight and the upgrade path; the V5F wins on top speed and rider weight ceiling.

Q-04 Is 100 kg the strict max load?

Yes — 100 kg rider weight is the manufacturer-stated ceiling. Heavier riders should look at wheels rated for 120 kg or more.
