ELECTRIC UNICYCLES IN EUROPE

An electric unicycle (EUC) is a self-balancing vehicle with one wheel, a hub motor and a lithium battery. You stand on two pedals, lean forward to accelerate and back to brake, and turn with your hips and feet. There are no handlebars, no chain and no gears. That makes it the most compact powered vehicle you can ride: it rolls beside you on its trolley handle, stands next to a desk and fits a car trunk.

OneRide is an online shop that specializes in electric unicycles, and an official distributor of LeaperKim (Veteran), NOSFET, INMOTION, KingSong, BEGODE and Extreme Bull. Our range runs from compact city wheels to powerful suspension wheels for long rides and rough ground, along with spare parts, tires and protective gear. Every wheel comes through official channels with a 2-year warranty.

WHO RIDES AN EUC?

  • Commuters: who ride 5–25 km a day and want a vehicle that goes with them onto a train and into the office.
  • Leisure riders: who explore cycle paths, parks and riverside routes after work and on weekends.
  • Off-road and trail riders: who want suspension, larger wheels and strong torque for gravel and forest paths.
  • EUC enthusiasts: who follow new models closely, such as the Lynx S, Patton S, S22 PRO+, Falcon PRO and XENO.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR FIRST ELECTRIC UNICYCLE?

Choose for the way you will ride, not for the biggest numbers. Three questions narrow the field:

  • Daily distance — short city trips of around 10 km work well with 500–800 Wh; a daily 20–30 km is comfortable with 1 000–1 500 Wh; long weekend rides call for 2 000 Wh or more.
  • Terrain — smooth asphalt suits nimble 14–16″ wheels; broken pavement and trails suit 18–20″ wheels with suspension.
  • Power and size — a wheel with moderate power is easier to learn on; high-power wheels are bigger and heavier and make more sense once you ride with confidence.

WHAT ABOUT BATTERY, RANGE AND SUSPENSION?

A bigger battery means more range, but speed counts most: fast riding uses far more energy than cruising, and hills, wind, rider weight and cold reduce range further. Read the maker's range figure as a best case and plan on less. Suspension, with coil or air springs, smooths broken pavement and reduces fatigue on long rides. On smooth city routes, many riders are happy with a wheel without it.

WHAT ABOUT SAFETY, PARTS AND WARRANTY?

Every OneRide electric unicycle comes with a 2-year warranty, and we stock parts and tires for the wheels we sell, so repairs and upkeep stay simple. Delivery times and return conditions are explained in Delivery and returns. On the road, start with a helmet and wrist guards, and build up speed gradually as your balance improves.

FAQ

QUESTIONS WE
ACTUALLY GET

Most people learn on a mid-size wheel (14–18″) with moderate power. It is easier to balance and control at low speed, and easier to pick up after a fall or lift up a flight of stairs. Very powerful, heavy wheels make more sense once you ride confidently. If you are unsure, contact us with your height, weight and daily distance, and we will suggest a wheel.

Less than the maker's maximum, which is measured in ideal conditions. Speed matters most, followed by rider weight, hills, cold and tire pressure. Planning on about two thirds of the rated figure is a sensible starting point. The battery capacity in Wh is listed on every product page.

Most wheels cope with light rain; check the IP rating in the specifications. Avoid deep puddles and heavy downpours, never submerge the wheel, and let it dry completely before charging.

A helmet, wrist guards and knee pads from the first ride, and a full-face helmet and padded jacket for faster wheels. Rules for riding an electric unicycle on public roads differ from country to country, so check what applies where you ride.

Yes. Spare parts, tires and riding accessories for the wheels we sell are in the Spare parts and Accessories sections.

OneRide is an official distributor of LeaperKim (Veteran), NOSFET, INMOTION, KingSong, BEGODE and Extreme Bull electric unicycles, and each electric unicycle comes with a 2-year warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights. Details are in Delivery and returns and our Terms and conditions.
