OneRide's used electric unicycle section is stock that has been either traded in against a new wheel, returned under our 14-day policy, or come back from short-term rentals. Every unit listed here has been through a workshop check covering motor bearings, controller function, battery diagnostic, shell integrity, tire condition, and pedal hardware. Battery health is measured on a bench, not guessed from voltage. Wheels with cell degradation beyond 20% are either rebuilt or pulled from inventory.

What a used EUC saves a rider is typically 25-40% off the new price, depending on model and age. A two-year-old Sherman L with 4000 km on the pack and clean mechanicals might come in at around 65% of new. The trade-off is cycle count on the battery and cosmetic wear. Neither usually affects real-world performance much if the diagnostic check comes back clean, but honest numbers do matter and we list them on each unit.

OneRide's used stock is almost always Begode, Kingsong, Inmotion, or Leaperkim. Occasional Extreme Bull or older Gotway units show up. We do not list wheels that have suffered severe impact damage, battery events, or unverifiable service history. Warranty on used wheels: 3 months parts and labor at our EU workshop, which is shorter than new but more than private-sale buyers typically get.

How much of the original battery life is left on a used Sherman?

Depends on cycle count and how the previous owner charged. A Sherman L at 200 full cycles typically still has 92-95% capacity. At 500 cycles you are looking at 85-90%. Our listings show the measured capacity from a full bench discharge, not estimates.

Is the factory warranty transferable?

Usually not. Begode, Kingsong, and Inmotion all tie warranty to the original purchaser. What OneRide offers is its own 3-month warranty on used wheels, covering mechanical failure, battery diagnostic issues, and controller faults not caused by rider impact.

Why does a wheel come back as used stock?

Three main reasons: trade-in against a new wheel, return within 14-day window, or end of a short-term rental agreement. Occasional workshop loaner wheels rotate through as well. Wheels from rider crashes with damage beyond cosmetic do not enter inventory.

Is a used EUC a good first wheel?

A used V8F, V11Y, or KS-16X at a reasonable price is a fine first EUC, assuming the battery check is clean. What you should avoid as a first wheel is a used flagship like Sherman L or V13, regardless of price, because the performance ceiling is too high for a new rider and any damage on a used high-voltage wheel is more expensive to diagnose.

Can I trade in my current wheel toward a new one?

Yes. Send us model, year, cycle count if you know it, and photos of cosmetic condition. We quote a trade-in value, handle shipping to our EU workshop, and credit it against a new-wheel purchase.
