Q-01Rengas size — is it 16" or 18"?
The rim is 16". The motorcycle rengas (3.0-12 ETRTO carcass) gives an overall outside diameter that some retailers label as 18". We give both numbers so the spec is unambiguous — the 16" rim figure is what determines fitment.
Q-02Why the air shock rather than coil?
Begode tunes the Extreme around an air shock because it lets the jousitus rate scale with rider weight by changing pressure rather than swapping springs. The trade-off is that lighter riderit (~70 kg or less) may not move enough air to use the available travel.
