The Extreme is Begode's professional off-road wheel. Higher voltage than most of the range (134 V), longer suspension travel (130 mm with usable working range under load), and a moto-style knobby tire that carries grip onto loose surfaces rather than asking the rider to find smooth lines.

2400 Wh of Samsung 21700, a 3500 W C40 high-torque motor, a 24-MOSFET controller, 130 mm of air-oil suspension and a 16" / 3.0-12 ETRTO moto knobby on the J802 carcass. Heavier and more capable than the C8, more focused than a road wheel, and tuned for terrain.

134 V battery architecture

2400 Wh at 134 V on Samsung 21700 cells. The high-voltage system lets the 3500 W motor pull cleanly under climbing load. 50S in current ewheels stock; some runs 50E.

3500 W C40 high-torque motor

3500 W nominal C40 motor with 24-MOSFET controller. Voltage architecture gives the motor headroom a typical 100 V system cannot match on hard climbs.

130 mm air-oil suspension

Air-oil shock with adjustable damping — one of the longer suspension setups in the EUC market. Usable travel under rider load is roughly 60–80 mm. Begode recommends the air shock for riders 80 kg and above.

16" / 3.0-12 moto knobby

16" rim with a 3.0-12 ETRTO motorcycle carcass — the J802 knobby. Some retailers describe this as 18" by overall outside diameter; the 16" rim figure determines fitment. The moto carcass gives the Extreme its trail bite.

The Extreme is built for off-road riders who want a serious moto-tire EUC with long suspension travel — not a smooth urban commuter, not a long-distance tourer, not a lightweight wheel.

The serious off-road rider

Riders who want a moto-tire EUC with long suspension travel. The 16" J802 carcass and 130 mm air-oil shock carry grip onto loose surfaces that ask too much of a road tire.

The heavier rider

Begode recommends 80 kg+ for the air shock to work as intended. The Extreme's chassis and pack are sized for riders the lighter wheels in the range cannot fully support.

The road-to-trail upgrader

Owners stepping up from a road wheel into trail and mixed-surface riding. Willing to accept the weight penalty for chassis capability — a different category of EUC, not a faster commuter.

Smooth urban commuters

The C8 or an Inmotion V11 / V12 will be more comfortable for daily city use. The Extreme's moto tire and trail tuning are working against you on smooth pavement.

Long-distance touring riders

Range is moderate (~70–75 km mixed). For touring, the Sherman L or a higher-Wh wheel is the better fit. The Extreme's strength is terrain capability, not endurance.

Lightweight riders under ~70 kg

The air shock will not fully compress to use its travel. A coil-sprung wheel or a lighter platform will give more responsive suspension feel for lighter riders.

Q-01 Tire size — is it 16" or 18"?

The rim is 16". The motorcycle tire (3.0-12 ETRTO carcass) gives an overall outside diameter that some retailers label as 18". We give both numbers so the spec is unambiguous — the 16" rim figure is what determines fitment.

Q-02 Why the air shock rather than coil?

Begode tunes the Extreme around an air shock because it lets the suspension rate scale with rider weight by changing pressure rather than swapping springs. The trade-off is that lighter riders (~70 kg or less) may not move enough air to use the available travel.
